From top to more-than-capable toe, the Lehle RMI Acouswitch IQ DI is an incredibly high-quality pedal designed in collaboration with Ruppert Musical Instruments (RMI). One of the most dependable and extensive acoustic DI boxes-slash-preamplifiers available, this genuinely magic box can be used with amplified acoustic instruments like guitars, basses, double basses, mandolins ad etc. Two instruments can be connected at any time and, by using the array of controls, you can expand and shape the sound then mix it with external effects loops. Every detail and nuance of dynamics and signal are retained by gold-plated relays and contacts.

Control Your Sound with the Acouswitch IQ DI

With the A/B switch of the Acouswitch IQ DI, you simply flip between inputs A and B for quick onstage instrument changes while the Volume A pot maintains the balance between the two signals. Use the three-band EQ to colour your sound as needed according to the mix and space of the venue where you're playing then dial in your preferred dose of mid-frequencies. The finisher is the Body-Contour control that helps neutralise any feedback or just fatten up the overall sound.

The Connectors

The Lehle RMI Acouswitch comes with two sets of sockets for FX-loops. The serial set of send and receive sockets are designed for pedals like compression and volume; pedals that are always active. Then, any pedals used for effect or accent can be jacked in via the Mix Loop sockets and a balance between the dry and wet signal can be struck using the corresponding pot. If you have no effect connected to the Mix Loop, the Mix Loop Boost footswitch can be used as a simple and effective clean boost. Finally, this highly refined pedal is fitted with a ground-lift switch, a tuner output and naturally, a set of XLR inputs and outputs for direct transfer of your perfectly tweaked sound to the mixer or amplifier.
